Join other local Jax Business Professionals for a fun yet competitive 2 man scramble benefiting Henderson Haven School for Special Needs. Networking & Awards will immediately follow the tournament 2pm–4pm. Breakfast & Lunch Buffet and Open Bar included.
All skills are welcome!
No official handicap needed, we will help determine what your self reported handicap is.
We will be factoring in GHIN & self reported handicaps to a points based match to make this a competitive tournament worth the bragging rights!

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the scramble format work?
In a scramble, each player in a team hits their shot, and the team selects the best shot to play from for the next stroke. This process continues until the ball is holed.
What is the scoring system?
In order to make this tournament competitive and accessible to all skill levels we are running a point based system factoring in handicaps.
No official handicap needed, we'll help you determine what to put down.
Team with most points at end of match wins.
Starting Points Allotted
- The two member team’s average handicap divided by 2.
- e.g. Player 1 = 13; Player 2 = 15; Average = 14. Divide 14 by 2 = Starting points would be 7
- Max Handicap allowed = 20
- Rounded up at 0.5+ to nearest hole number
Points Earned in Match
- Double Bogey = −1
- Bogey = 0
- Par = 1
- Birdie = 2
- Eagle = 3
- Albatross / Hole-in-One = 5
Tiebreakers
- Closest to the hole chipping challenge
- If challenge is not possible; Best Stroke Score
- If score tied; Best of 3 Ro-Sham-Bo!
What is a shotgun start?
A shotgun start means each group of players begins play at different holes simultaneously. It allows all teams to start at the same time, creating a uniform pace of play across the course.
What happens if it rains?
In case of rain, the tournament will proceed unless weather conditions are severe. Players will receive updates regarding any changes directly from tournament officials.
What is a 50/50 raffle?
All the money from raffle ticket sales goes into one pot. At the awards we draw one winning ticket. The winner takes home 50% of the pot, and the other 50% goes to Henderson Haven School for Special Needs.
The more tickets sold, the bigger the prize. If $4,000 in tickets are sold, the winner gets $2,000 and Henderson Haven gets $2,000.
Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100, and anyone can buy them, whether or not you are playing. You do not need to be there to win. Get raffle tickets.
What should I bring?
Bring your golf clubs, appropriate clothing for the day, and any personal items you might need, such as sunscreen and bottled water.
